30+ years of published, award-winning & innovative custom automotive excellence
Our fearless leader with 30+ years of award-winning experience, Brandon has an unmatched passion for quality and everything custom automotive. A regular at SEMA and numerous other shows, he's always bringing something unique to propel the industry forward. He conveys his passion for his work and our clients to each of our team members to create a truly remarkable experience and results for our clients.
With all that experience, there’s basically nothing he doesn’t do. Brandon has had over 20 magazine features, covers and articles describing and showing his work, as well as many opportunities to feature his cars in movies and TV shows. He’s also been awarded many trophies for show cars and even had a 72 Pantera that traveled the circuit for a year and got best paint for every contest it entered. His work in paint and custom cars has earned itself a strong place and high praise in the world of high quality custom design.
Brandon’s hobby is his work, but isn't that the dream?
To fill in the gaps he enjoys motorcycle racing, practical pistol and rifle training, and he loves going to Chelan with his family.
Head of Fabrication (Metal)/Race suspension & framework
According to his fellow employees, he is "just incredible". Chris started out building transmissions and did that for about 9 years. At that point, he had an interest in moving more toward custom work and landed a job at a race shop where he worked for a year as the head fabricator. He has vast experience, not to mention a natural talent in metal and fabrication work - building roll cages and doing framework. He has been with BXC for a year and a half now and loves it.
Chris’s interests in his free time include racing (specifically motorcycles, which he will be starting up this year along with the Head of the shop Brandon Knowles), guns, building cars, women (of course), camping and travel. He goes to Hawaii almost every year but also enjoys Vegas (SEMA!!!) and Florida. His current personal projects include building and cerakoting his AR15, working on an 'O6 R1 yamaha and a Nissan Skyline.
Shop "Mom"/Office Manager/Customer Relations
Debbie is our primary customer service agent – friendly, wonderful and fills in all the needs she can with her diverse skillset. Whether finances, ordering or answering the phones - she’s a Jack (or Jill) of all trades for the shop. If there is a need, she fills it with a smile on her face.
Debbie started off her career in this industry 10 years prior to working at BXC with Brandon’s father at Lee’s Auto Body, where Brandon, the owner of BXC, also worked at the time. In July 2010 Brandon took his in-home business to the public and opened up BXC’s official location, and Debbie followed. She has been the loyal, wonderful mother hen of the shop for many years.
In her free time you'll find her upcycling - distressing and restoring old furniture and antiques - basically performing the same magic she sees going on in the shop. She also enjoys attending events that her husband plays in as a singer/guitarist, and hiking (this is the PNW).
Fabrication/Design/Building/Assembly - Mustang & Muscle Car Guru
Zac’s skills range from fabrication and restoration to drive train and design. He has 24 years’ experience in the industry. Starting his career in 1992 at an establishment West Coast restoration shop, Zac was an essential ”Zac” of all trades - working in everything from building and restoration to painting to driving recklessly (muscle cars have that effect on enthusiasts). He’s been primarily responsible for some of the most beautiful muscle cars you’ve ever seen out on the road - specializing in Fords, Mustangs, muscle cars, Boss, Shelby and Concours.
Zac’s main hobbies are guns and rock climbing, but with a wife and kids his time is pretty well accounted for, especially given the passion for quality work he demonstrates every day at the shop. He is currently collaborating on a project restoring a 75 F100 4X4.
Dave’s skills range from paint, polishing & body work to organization & filling in the needs wherever they are. He does most of the collision work in the shop as well.
Before coming to BXC, Dave had his own fiber glass business in Idaho for about a year and a half, as well as experience working at a body shop and a fabrication shop for several years. When he moved to Washington, he got a job at BXC through a mutual friend and has been here for a year.
Dave’s hobbies include any and all sports, especially Nascar - which embodies his love of cars and speed. He also enjoys camping. He’s waiting for the arrival of a 55 Chevy that he is excited to be the head designer on, repainting it from top to bottom.
